Winnie I am glad you liked the card, I was working on something else but went with the card for now. Glad you had a good birthday!

You are welcome Winnie. By all means celebrate all month long. In 2018 I was so excited that I turned 3/4 of a century old...the remainder of that year (Oct. Nov. and Dec.) Plus almost all of 2019 I told anyone and everyone that I was 3/4 of a century old (75 years!)

Marilyn -- my Dad did that when he turned 100. If we took him out to dinner would go around the restaurant telling everyone was 100 years old. He gathered quite a few kisses from young(er) ladies.

100 is nothing to sneeze at and needs to be celebrated! My aunt will be 100 in September. She is the last of my dad's siblings and I will miss her terribly when her time comes to leave us. We still write to one another.
We should celebrate each day of those birthday months!

Yes 100 definitely needs to be celebrated?
Yes I agree those birthday months are special and need to be celebrated no matter what might be going on at the time. Just being thought of makes a big difference.
I know you ladies make a blessed difference in my life! Thank you!

Love you all

My maternal grandfather delivered mail at his retirement home when he was 99; he lived to 102 or 103. My great grandmother was 103 on my mother's side.

Dad had longevity on his mother's side. His uncle was 106 and still playing his violin. He passed it on to my dad who gave it my son. He still plays it.

Thank you all for the birthday cards. I love them. Every year I celebrate a little longer. My husband has been so funny when the mail comes...he keeps saying the farmgirls didn't send him anything. I tell him you'll just have to start your own farm boys club.

After the farmboyfathers day swap...my husband was on cloud nine, showing off his goodies.
Now he commented the other day something about me getting mail so often. Do you suppose he is a bit envious???

LInda, your surgical cloth hats for Baylee will be perfect! I was an OR nurse for 10 years but only had the disposable hats to wear. Wish I had some cute hats like you made!!

I think they were a little big for her, but I told Marilyn how she could adjust them to be smaller. I had made Ed quite a few different patterns - some he wore when he knew a lot of kids would be patients.

I made a Louisiana State Univ. one for a doctor he worked with. He wears it all the time. LOL! In fact, he's the doctor that may be doing rotator cuff surgery on me.

Darlene - Thank you for the Get Well card you included with the birthday card and gift.

Judith Thank you for the Primitive Quilts magazine you sent. I have never tried a wool felt project, though I do have 2 small kits somewhere. There are a lot of neat ideas in the magazine. I had never seen the magazine before and enjoyed glancing through it. I will look through it a little slower the second time.
