Denise, so wonderful for you to have help with your jam. Love strawberry jam too.

The last of my box of peaches went into this peach pound cake this morning.

Today it's just deserts for the trip this weekend. Chocolate chip cookies, Peanut butter cookies, Peanut butter fudge, and white trash mix. Will try and get some oatmeal cookie done before night but we will see if that happens. Have a good one everyone.

Funny Amy, I seriously thought of getting a pizza too, but we had salad (most of the vegetables coming from our garden). I did go for an ice cream at a place by the lake. Their ice cream is not the best but they do have a great view.

I made some pesto yesterday. Fresh Basil from the garden, a whole head of garlic, walnuts, olive oil, and parmesan cheese. Yummo! Great as a spread on sourdough bread and no heating up the oven :)

Oh, yes, Lexi, I'll make a peach pie and jump in the back of Carole's car!

I did a lot of cooking this week with my family visiting. Mostly farm fruits and veggies. The corn and plums are especially good this year!

Happy Day!

That would be lovely! My grandmother used to make peach pie with walnuts in it. I should try that...
