Whoops! Time to send out soup recipes! Today is the perfect day for that. Sunday it was 83 degrees. Today it is 63 degrees with a blustery wind!

Hi ladies! I will try to type up recipes today. I owe you guys another appetizer recipe and the soup recipes. Just a thought, but might it be easier to send all the month's recipes at once?

I like that idea, Shannon :) I find it easier to just sit down once a month and type everything, then to do it every week.

Hello Everyone:
I will be emailing everyone all of my recipes to date so I will hopefully get caught up! If any of you have your recipes saved, would there be anyway for you to send yours to me?

Debbie I printed out all of your recipes yesterday! :)

I'll email my last soup recipe today. I'm going to suggest for the next month (November) that we skip ahead a little bit and exchange cookie recipes in anticipation of the holiday season. Is everyone ok with that?

Hi, Wildflowers!
Erin and Debbie, I received your cookie recipes. They look delicious!
I will catch up on those when I return from a vacation mid-Nov. Just can't wait to start holiday baking!

Ok, so I want to keep this recipe exchange going, but let's not do it for this month. Does that sound ok? We can resume in January. It's just a really busy time right now for a lot of us. Is everyone alright with that?

I do not even know what I need to send out!!!!

What do you think about actually mailing recipe cards once a month? We could send 4 still, but I personally am finding that printing them off is not working as well. Thoughts???

Do you mean mailing 4 to everyone in the henhouse?

Last month we did cookies. I can't remember if I got your recipes.

or to everyone that signs up wanting to exchange... i wonder if it would be too heavy to mail? but then again, that would get really expensive for Joyce. Never mind!

do not think i ever sent out cookies.... i will have to try to go back and figure it out

Hey Shannon - 4 recipe cards a month would just go as a regular letter for me :) I'm totally OK with doing that! It's paper, so I don't need to claim it as parcel, and I would honestly prefer it that way anyway!! I don't have any of mine printed...and I would love recipe cards so I can tuck them in my recipe card box, and actually use them!

Does anyone know what our next category will be? Will we be doing 4 recipe cards next? I am fine with either method or both.

Should we have an informal vote on it? I know I will be more likely to complete an ongoing project like this if it's via email. I do see the appeal of hand written though. It would depend on how many we gave to send out. I have pen pals and am committed to the ornament swap, so postage could get to be a lot. What does everyone else think?

I think depending on who is all involved :) If there is too many, it won't work. I'd love to do it by hand though.

Erin - I think you are right... I think we would all be more likely to e-mail them, rather than mailing them. I love recipe cards, but I think I may just need to start a recipe binder for those I receive from here. I'm wondering if we could make a recipe page... with the wildflower emblem on the bottom... that we could use to e-mail our recipes... I'm talking about the one that Kathleen originally created... Am I making any sense??? I am terribly tired and am starting to think I am about as clear as mud!
