Hello Everyone,

I was looking at my Red Shamrock plant, admiring it's tenacity. I had been ignoring it for a while. Guess what I found? Do you see what I see on the bottom right?

It's a four leaf clover! Sharing my luck with you!

Cheers!

That is a beautiful plant Carole and neat with the 4 leaf clover on it. I didn't know they came in purple.

Thank you Linda and Darlene. I am happy that it is beginning to flower.

That poor plant was neglected. So I moved it up to my sewing room, where I see it every day. I also had a good talk with her, apologized for being inattentive to her needs. Slowly she began to have more stalks coming up, an now flowers. Yea!

Linda, lucky you to be able to plant. Bitterly cold today and tonight! I think it is going down to 7! No planting going on here! Although it is officially spring, we sure don't feel it in the temperatures! Is your smart phone still to smart for the site? lol Would enjoy seeing pictures of your garden!

Darlene, what did you do today?

Myself, went to a pancake breakfast down the street from me - funds went to the St Mary's Church (if you recall, there was a horrible fire last month. They are not sure if they will be able to salvage any part of the building). In the afternoon, we had a spaghetti dinner award for the skaters. It was at the golf course (which is closed in the winter time). It was so cold in there! I ask hubby to make sure he had a nice toasty fire going in the living room stove for when we returned. Brrrr ...... a cold day!

Right now I am enjoying my second cup of tea and attempting to wrap my head around the fact that I am losing the last of my Rhode Island Red (chicken) by the name of Mabel. She is not doing well and I do not think she will make it through the night. I get so attached to my girls (chickens). So, I lit a candle in her honour! Sigh!

Hi Carole,

I went to Church this morning then finished some work at my job, came home put on an oldie movie with Dean martin and slept through part of it and just had a quiet day and also talked to my oldest daughter on the phone. Not exciting but pleasant.

Sorry to hear about your chicken Carole, I have one kitty that is failing too and she is old and has a tumor on her leg. Anyway she loves to eat.

Have a good day,

hugs

Hello Everyone! and good morning!

So far at the time of 7:53am we have the sun peeking out, it is beautiful of course.

Sounds like you had a wonderful breakfast this morning Carole.

Things are going well for the moment but got a lot to do to get my house ready for inspection in April, more like last minute pick up and put out of sight things.

Hope you all have a great day!

hugs

Good morning ladies,
Hope all are doing well.
There are continuing psych issues with my mom going on and continued behavior problems with her at her senior apt.

I'm going to complete my swap commitments.........but with my own health and dealing with finding solutions with the other family issues.......I think I will have to step aside from the forums for awhile.
Just unable to do everything the time it deserves really right now.

I hope to stop in once in awhile and visit here tho!!

Enjoy all of you ladies and enjoy hearing what all are up too :)
Big hugs to all!
Linda

Wow, March is almost over! Goodness where has it gone? Seems everything is moving so quickly.

Darlene, how is that house project coming along? Hope you are now enjoying the fruit of your labor! I'll be house cleaning soon. Well, when the weather gets nicer. It certainly does not feel like spring here.

I have been hanging more often then usual in the main forum. I finally figured out after 4 years that I can just click on "active topics" and see what is going on, as opposed to going through every single categories and subcategories. I avoided the main forum because it was soooooo time consuming! Now, it's a breeze! Wow, it took me that long to figure it out! lol

So I have some news, we will have a new member joining us. Her name is Katie and she goes by the MJF handle glampinggrandma. As soon as Brian has everything programmed, she'll be able to post in our henhouse.

Take care everyone! Cheers!

Evening ladies,
I'm having a quiet, so thankful, evening so thought I would say hello when I have the chance.

Things with my mom are still a bit of a mess and difficult. Home health is involved now, thank the Lord. The case mgr has been a blessing of a listening ear and encouragement.

It was a beautiful spring day here today . Finishing up my spring swap for Sherry , to mail tomorrow :)

Thankful for warm weather!
Carole, that's great news for a new member!!

I hope that's been some encouragement for you :)
Thank you for allowing me to pop in and visit sometimes when I'm able

Hugs to all,
Linda
