Today I am working on washing, stemming and blanching green beans to get put into the freezer. So far I have 1/2 bushel washed and stemmed. Half of that is already in the freezer. Just need to blanch the rest and put them in containers. Feels good to get it done. |

That's great Denise!!! Does anyone remember , or do now, sitting and fixing peas? Did that with my grandmothers! Loved it so much. I haven't been able to buy fresh peas to shell in decades.
Might try them in container gardening next spring on the balcony ;)

I shucked peas a little when I was at an Aunts in New Jersey as a little girl, It was fun.
Fresh peas are the best anyway. I think we broke beans too.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for what he has done. Philippians 4:6
Just follow God unquestioningly. Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.
