Awhile back I had packed up my Sewing/Craft Room to reorganize and to
make room for a 1940's Wardrobe for my Vintage Clothing, and Grandma's Old Sweing Machine. I have been slowly unpacking boxes and trying to find a home for everything, y'all know how that is. Anyway, finally in the last box I unpacked was my missing journal and my 3 books that Marlee has made for me over the last few years for different occasions, birthday, Christmas etc. They are just lovely and she added things to them that pertained to me like a costume ring that had the red stone in it to represent the ruby which is my birthstone, old doilies, post cards and more. Then she made me one for Christmas to hold special Christmas Cards and Memories she said. All 3 of these wonderful books are special to me and I will always treasure them as they were made for me by Marlee. I just love homemade farmgirl gifts as they are from the heart. Thank you again Marlee, I did not forget you I just had to find my books.
Just wanted to share will all of you my books and others ways that these fabulous books can be made. I am sure there are many different ways to make memory books, guess I need to try my hand at it, but I could never make them as great as all my scrapbook gals out there who have been making them so long.

Nothing like a TREASURE FOUND! Happy that you got to that last box huh?
I Love those kind of Special (only for you) gifts where the giver has personalized
everything just for you. It makes you feel like they really went to the trouble to
make it a True Keepsake. ~ Glad this was a Happy Sunday with Treasures recovered dear

You are right Peggy, it was a good day, and my room is FINALLY finished, Marlee's books displayed for all to see and my room is ready for the girls, Julie and Sherry. We will of course have a craft day while they are here, and we will be able to find all the supplies we need now.

| Marlee's books are very beautiful! What a special treasure to enjoy complete with Farmgirl love and creativity. Your craft room sounds wonderful with things from your Grandmother and some vintage pieces. I bet it all looks very homey and organized too! Enjoy your day of crafting with Julie and Sherry. Can't wait to see what you all come up with together!! |

Oh maybe it was a bad time to show those since I'm making Marlee one in the journal swap. Ok I need more glue. Those are really detailed and so extra special. I bet you are going to have so much fun with the girls when they come to visit, wish I could be there. Look forward to pictures.
