Hello all,
I am so thankful for all the lovely gifts and cards sent my way for my birthday, and just because. I love my Tee shirt, and thank you so much for having sizes that would fit a person in mid-fifties!

I'm not ready to jump back in quite yet...if only there were more minutes in a day. My one friend is losing her battle with breast cancer, and I am just home for a day or two before going back to care for her in her home. My other friend is having yet another ovarian cancer surgery on August 13th, and we are all crossing our fingers and praying hard that this will be the last.

Sadly, my sister-in-law was just diagnosed with breast cancer, and another friend yesterday.

In other sad news, we lost two of our parrots 18 days apart to a stroke, and old age congestive heart failure. I am heartbroken, but looking for light and beauty in everyday tasks.

I'm hoping to be more active in August in the hen house, but right this moment, I am not adding anything to my over-committed list!
Love and hugs to all,
Rain

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for what he has done.
Philippians 4:6

Just follow God unquestioningly.
Because you love Him so, for if you trust His judgment there is nothing you need to know.

Hi Rain, So happy to hear from you...but sad with all that is going on in your life! So sorry for the loss of your Parrots! We just lost a dog that was 17 years old, so I understand the heart ache!
For all the people in your life dealing with sickness, I will be praying for them and for you as you minister to their needs.
Please don't forget to take care of the "caregiver"!
Hope to see you "Pop" in to say "Hi" when you get a minute. Know that you are thought about a lot and missed!
Big hugs, and lots of prayers,
Ruth
