Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for what he has done.

Isn't it wonderful to have things that the women in our lives used before us? I have so many things that my mom passed down from my grandma and great grandma. Now that Mom is gone I have a lot of her things too. This post made me think about the aprons and the dishes and I have a rolling pin of my grandma's and one of mom's. I think about all the pies and things that they were used for. I picture Grandma in her kitchen wearing one of these aprons and using her rolling pin to roll out the dough for her turnovers and pies. She had a little bake shop behind her house where they lived one the lake. In the summer all the people who vacationed up there would come to Grandpa's marina to get gas and the ladies always headed up the hill to the bakeshop. When ever we went to visit mom would give us a dime and we would go out to buy the penny candy she sold in the shop. She also was very artistic and made so many things to sell in her shop. We often wondered if Grandma ever slept. She started her baking early in the morning and was always doing handwork whenever she could. I was 10 yrs old when she passed but I will always have great memories of her.
