Good Morning Chickies:

I guess we have all the Chickies signed up now.

My Hubby Tom pulled the Partners out of my Mama Hen Hat, Partners are as follows:

Nancy Jo - Ruth
Julie - Peggy
Sherry - Marlee
Tammy - Debbie Main
Sue - Denise
Darlene - Linda
Mama Hen - Amber

Remember Chickies to get your card and hankie (no other tucks this time)in the mail enjoy for our Mom's to enjoy before the day.

Have fun and thank you all.

Sign up now for our Mother's Day Swap, we will have partners this time.

Real simple swap, a Mother's Day Card store bought or homemade with a vintage hankie. That's it easy peasy, I hope everyone signs up for this one so we can honor all our Mother's in the HenHouse.

I will draw names on April 30th which is the last day of our SS swap, then mail out your card and hankie in time for your partner to enjoy her card and hankie before Mother's Day.

I will be the first to sign up.

Will be announcing our June Swap on May Day, y'all are going to love it I promise:-)

July of course will be our 4th of July swap as it is my favorite day of the month and my most favorite holiday. It is my birthday month so I have lots of fun in July. I start decorating on June 1st for 4th of July as I can not forget about flag day on June 14th a special day as well to me.

So lots to look forward too this summer, and all fun things as well. Warm weather too!

Hugs,
Debbie

Big Hugs,
Debbie

I do a search on Google for whatever I am looking for, say Hankies, then I just look for Vintage Hankies free clip art. There is so much out there Ruth you would not believe it.

Sign me up. I have a huge vintage hankie collection. Where do you all collect yours from for those of you who collect them?

Denise, Collecting hankies has been a long journey! Most of mine have been gifts and ones I have found at Church sales, or thrift stores. My eyes are always open for a new/old treasure. One day I would like to make something with them.

Denise, I too have been collecting Vintage Hankies for years, like Ruth many have been gifts, but I also got a lot from Estate Sales, Antique Shops, yard sales and Goodwill. It is just so much fun looking for new ones, for years I have been on the hunt for a Vintage July Hankie as that is my birth month. I know there is one out there calling my name.

I have a lot of mine on clothes pins at the top of my ceiling. Hubby hung twine across the room so I can pin my hankies up for all to see and it is an easy way to display them. I also collect the wood handle cloth knitting bags and they hang under the hankies across the wall and I put hankies in them too. I must take a picture of it.

Thank you all for signing up this will be such a fun swap.

Hugsk,
Debbie

I have gotten most of mine from what my mother, gram and great gram had. I have often thought of using them to make a quilt. There are many that have the tatted edge on them that my great gram use to make. I love looking at them. I keep them washed and pressed. I do have some I use.

Sorry you will be unable to participate Linda, this will be a fun little swap.

I will announce partners on the Sunday 27th of April. With mail out by no later than the week of May 5th so your partner will be assured of getting her card by Mother's Day.

********Remember you only get ONE partner so you will only be sending a card and hankie nothing more to just one farmgirl sister. Simple and not expensive for anyone.************

Oh this one will be fun too, we get to look forward to more farmgirl mail.

Hugs,
Debbie
