Hi Girls,
Our farm girl sister Tammy needs all you healing thoughts and vibes right now.
Tammy has been having gall bladder issues and will be going in Thursday for surgery.
Tammy, I know your pain girl. This is not the ideal diet plan, so surgery will be most welcome I am sure.

Tammy you know you are in my heart and thoughts, I wish I could be there to help you through it and cook you some of my fabulous Homemade Chicken Noodle soup. Enjoy your overnight stay in the hospital, relax and rest if you can. LOL! That is one thing one usually does not get in the hospital is peace, quiet and rest with them taking vitals every 4 hours or so. But, you know how to rest and get your sleep:-)
Take care my sweet friend and I will be talking to you of course before you go in, and after.
Don't over do it this week end, going to the beach and just relaxing sounds just like what you need.
We are here for you so if you need anything let us know.

I'm suppose to have the same surgery. I'm putting it off a year.
In the meantime bland and very low fat dietary living for me !

Thank you Julie, Debbie, Linda and Marlee for your good thoughts. And thank you to Ruth for the sweet card! I am actually looking forward to the surgery so I will not have any more gall bladder attacks...they are horrific! Marlee, you got to go home the same day...my doctor says I have to spend the night to monitor my pain and make sure everything is okay. Maybe it's because I am old...LOL! Linda, take care of yourself!!! You are putting the surgery off for a whole year...be very careful if you have gallstones (which I do) the doctor said they can escape and plug up one of the liver ducts. Don't want that to happen to you! Yes, I have been eating pretty bland...lot's of applesauce :/ My surgeon said no red meat, dairy, spicy or fat which leaves pretty much NOTHING! Funny, I seem to tolerate sweets just fine...hmmm.
That said, I really appreciate all of your kindness, thoughts and prayers.

Hi Tammy, sweet friend you are in my prayers! I personally don' t know your pain, but have seen it in family and friends, horrible is the word for it! You will feel like a new person when this is over :)!!

Thank you all again for all of your kind thoughts....I'm getting ready to head for the hospital in a couple hours (without my coffee....grrrrr). Debbie will check in with you all later tonight :)

Oh Tammy that is the worse part for me no coffee, I am pretty cranky in the morning without my first cup. But, once I am out of surgery for a few hours and I feel up to it I ask the nurses to please bring me cup. The nurses at the nurses station on the ward make the best coffee, it is Seatle's Best, it is so good, that is one of the reason I like staying over nite at the hospital just for the coffee:-)

You looked very good going into surgery, I did not look that good when I had my knees done.
I hope you are recouperating well and will keep you in my prayers.

Just talked to Tammy and her hubby Dave. Tammy was still a bit out of it, the first thing she said to me was, "I won't be posting any pictures tonight), okay I told her no problem. She should go home about this time tomorrow evening.
Dave said the surgery was a bit over 2 hours and all went well.
So there you have it gals, it is all over for Tammy, now she rest. At least there will be no more pain from the nasty gall bladder.
I will keep y'all posted as I will talk to her when she get home from the hospital tomorrow evening.
Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts and hugs they mean so much to Tammy.
