Hey Chickies,

I will hitting the road on the weekend of the 28th to Branson MO. I signed up my son for a dance workshop, and it's at The Chateau on the Lake Resort.

I won't be staying there I rented a condo for the weekend. I am pretty sure I'll have internet access, but just to make sure I'm letting you chickies know now. If there are any SPG gals in the area I'd love for you to stop by and come see us. We got the condo so we could make home meals and have a place for the kiddos down time. But we are hoping to go out to eat at a couple of fun kid friendly places. I have no idea. It's to early in the year for boat rides and amusement parks. So any suggestions would be great.

Anyway that's what's going on with me. If you don't hear from me for a while I'm just preoccupied in my head trying to get everything ready for our trip.

Amber

It was a tiring and crazy weekend. After the classes each day we went to the competition and watched a bit of that until my son got cranky. By Sunday around 3pm the weather started getting ugly so we went back to the apartment where we were staying watched the Oscars and the snow fall down all around us. Branson is pretty quick about scraping up the streets so by noon the roads were clear and we could explore a little. Unfortunately most of the entertainment side of Branson is closed in the off season so we spent most of our time in the "downtown oldtown" area but we did get to make a trip to the Hollywood Wax Museum. That was a lot of fun. The snow locked up most of the restaraunts also so we just took that as a sign and Mom, Logan, and myself just drove on home.

Glad you were able to enjoy part of your trip Amber, the weather is so unpredictable everywhere this time of year. I love Branson and as a young girl in 1965 I spent a two week vacation with my brother and family there, I had so much fun and never wanted to leave. I loved lake of the ozarks and thought there was nothing like it, but then again it was my first ever vacation. I know that it is all different now, even the quaint little cabins we stayed in are gone, but oh the memories I have.
Hugs,
Debbie
