I was walking home from school on a cold winter day.
Took a shortcut through the woods, and I lost my way.
It was getting late, and I was scared and alone.
When a precious baby boy took my hand and led me home.
Mama couldn't see him, but he was standing there.
And I knew in my heart, he was the answer to my prayers.
Oh, I believe there are angels among us
Sent down to us from somewhere up above.
They come to you and me in our darkest hours
To show us how to live,
To teach us how to give,
To guide us with the light of love.
When life held troubled times and had me down on my knees
There's always been someone there to come along and comfort me.
A kind word from a stranger to lend a helping hand.
A phone call from a friend just to say I understand.
And ain't it kind of funny that at the dark end of the road

Yes sweet Sisters I believe in Angels and since I was a little child I know I have always been surrounded by them and protected.
Angels are loving, caring and kind and always there for you.
And, we have many Angels in our Hen House, all of you are there to pick us up, put a smile on our face and make our heart sing. And all of you have been there for me with love, caring and kindness.
Thank you all so much for the very beautiful bouquet of flowers and get well balloon, y'all sure know how to make a Mama Hen cry, smile and feel good too.

AWWWW that is nice.
I didn't know that was written for Newtown CT, but it is beautiful.
I believe that there are angels all around us. Isn't that wonderful.

Debbie, that is such a beautiful song. Did you know it was written to honor the victims of the Newtown, CT tragedy?

Tammy...I didn't know it was written to honor the Victims of Newtown either.
Mama Hen...thanks for sharing the words with us all. I like Demi Lovato's singing too.
I wrote a Poem years ago about Angels Among Us too.
