Would anyone be interested in doing a "Winter Swap"? I can run this by our Mother Hen and see what she thinks? Our "Fall Swap" was fun so maybe we can do all the Seasons as swap. Just an idea :)

Great idea Joan as I told you in my email I was wondering what we could do so we could include you and Michele.
So, ladies for our November Swap it will be a Winter Swap. It will be up to each partner what they will send each other, we will see that everyone has the info sheets as well.
Also, how abou ta Thanksgiving card and your favorite recipe to be included? This will be a fun and warm swap, thank you so much Joan for the idea.
I am signing up as is Michele, counting Joan we have 3.

Ok, so this will be before the Christmas stocking swap, but will be a Winter Swap in November?
I am in either way, and just need to clarify what we are committing to.

Yes Denise, it is two separate swaps. Remember only sign up for what you want to, and have time for, you do not have to sign up for everything.
This swap will be a winter swap, more information after I get back from Atlanta. Also you can ask Joan as she came up with the wonderful idea so I know she will have some ideas on what you might want to include.
Thanks to those who have signed up already this will be fun and a way to include our Chickees that do not celebrate Christmas.
We have 6 signed up right now.

So just to clarify...the Winter swap will be in November, and the Stocking swap also? Or will the Stocking swap happen in December? That's where I am confused, but I want to do both!

Hi Rain,
November is the Winter Swap not sure when mail out will be, but well after the Christmas Stocking Swap.
December is the mail out time for our Christmas STocking Swap, we just have all of November to get things ready so we do not have to rush with anything. Mail out Stockings the 1st week in December to enjoy the whole month.
I hope this clears it up for you, we just will have two swaps to have fun with and different mail out times, if not let me know.

Wow, that was a quick reply!
So here's where I am still confused and honestly sleep-deprived and leaving at 5am, so it is probably all on me!
When you say, "November is the Winter Swap not sure when mail out will be, but well after the Christmas Stocking Swap.", and then that the Stockings will go out the first week of December, that's the part where I am confused...how is mailing the Winter Swap in November AFTER the first week of December? So correct me if I am wrong, but we are going to mail out Winter Swap sometime in November, and then the Christmas Stocking Swap by the first week of December...right?
Sorry! Just sorting out my calendar so I don't drop the proverbial ball!

Rain, Joan and I have not came up with the mail out date yet, we are just doing sign ups right now. We could have the mail out in January just not sure yet.
We are just working on two different swaps in November that is the only way the two swaps are related. November is just when we are having sign ups for the Winter Swap and the Christmas Socking Swap. Right now all anyone needs to worry about is the Christmas STocking Swap and its mail out date, which is the first week in December. More details will come later on the Winter Swap.
Does this help explain it a bit better?

We are back from our Art Retreat in Atlanta, trying to catch up. I will talk to all of you tomorrow.
But, I needed to let you know that the Winter Swap has been postponed until next year.
Hope all of you are having from getting your Christmas Stockings ready for our swap, it will be a fun swap.

Ruth, it was wonderful to spend time with you as well, I was going to post tomorrow about our wonderful day together, Roswell and our Art Retreat which was more than we ever expected, it was awesome and for such a great cause that is Dear to this old heart:-) I love supporting our military in anyway that I can.
