Good Morning Friends,
I would love to start a round-robin project in our henhouse. I will put together an journal and a "hen" that will fit into a small box or a padded envelope. Each "chick" who wants to join in will have the journal and "hen" (Sherry Hen) for 2 weeks, adding entries about your daily life, recipes you'd like to share, photos of things in your world, a pressed flower, a drawing, or maybe even a photo of Sherry Hen in your home, garden, place of work, etc. You can enter anything into the journal that will help us to get to know each other better and will brighten another sister's day. When your two weeks is up, you will mail the journal on to the next sister on the list. This project will continue until the journal and Sherry Hen have been around either 3 times or for a year, which ever comes first.
If you want to be included in this round robin project (and I hope you do; I'd love to get to know each of you better!), leave a message here AND email me with your name, address, email, and phone number. I plan to include name, address, and email inside the journal so we can communicate with each other as the journal makes it's way through our homes and lives.
I am open to suggestions and ideas and I look forward to seeing who wants to join in on this.

Hi there everyone,
So far Lauri, CJ, Rali, Margo, Robin, and Judy have signed up for the round robin. What fun! I will wait a few more days and see if anyone else wants to join, and I will close this on August 11th. I am laughing that some many people asked to not be first on the list! I will take the first spot, and then send it to CJ. This is a busy time of year for so many of us. I am looking forward to this little project...and Sherry the Hen is looking forward to doing some traveling.

P.S. Could I make a suggestion that after the Round Robin is complete, we send the book around one more time. That way we can all see pictures of and read about those that come after us. |

Good Morning Everyone,
I have closed the sign-up for the Sherry Hen/Journal Round Robin. There are 8 of us participating (Sylvia, thanks for joining!). I am working today of getting this together and will be mailing out this week to CJ, and Rali will be next. I am so looking forward to seeing what everyone contributes and to getting to know each of you better.

update; i still want to be in on this round robin but we are moving end of september and life will br crazy for a bit-so sherry needs to visit before sept 15th or after october 1st!
if she comes before sept 15thshe'll be in ohio and can help with packing and yard sale etc etc..if after october 1st- she 'll be in....Hawaii!!!
and i love Rali's idea to send her around one more time to see everyone's input!
