Got this email from Ruth and I told her I would pass it on to all of you.
Hi Sweet Momma Hen, Dave's surgery went amazingly well! He has had no pain, and we are home :)! The doctor said he had one of the largest bone spurs on his C3-4, and was just able to "Pop" it off! His incision looks fantastic, stitches on the inside, glue on the outside. His voice has returned, he has not had trouble swallowing. The first thing all our kids said is "Dad can talk"! That spur was pushing on his esophagus, voice box and who knows what else. We are so very thankful to the Lord and for all your prayers.
Please pass this on to the gals in the Henhouse.
love and hugs,
Ruthie

So, we are so happy for Dave and Ruth. Thank you chicks for all your thoughts and good wishes.

Hugs,
Mama Hen
