Hi all we are on the road. Only 2 hrs from home and already hit a snag with the vehicle. Please we can get this taken care of quickly.

Found out that they can't get a clutch until the beginning of next week. We will have to take another vehicle. That is not really a problem except it has to be a truck so we can tow a U-haul trailer back. The one we have available is smaller in the backseat, which under normal circumstances wouldn't be a problem except we are not only bringing my Dad back but his 2 dogs also. The bigger one would have to sit in the back with yours truly.  It's either that or we could take another vehicle and rent a truck from u-haul to drive back but then that means I would be driving the first vehicle back and it would cost for fuel two vehicles. So not sure what we will do. There is also the storm coming up the east coast to take into consideration. Just praying for the best thing to do.

Hi Denise,
How are you doing? I wasn't home yesterday so just got on here. Did you get a pick-up to take you there? How is your weather?
Comparing gas what would it cost to rent a Uhaul both ways so you didn't have to drive separate cars.
Well I am praying for you that things get better and go well for you both. Be careful of the weather.

Good morning everyone!
We are here and I have been able to get to wifi for a bit. Thought I'd give you an update. We managed to get back home and the vehicle is being fixed. Dh has another truck we could bring so we left on Friday and of course had rain down the east coast but was thankful that the Lord was with us and we had no further problems. We are hoping to get things packed up and head home this week.
As for my sister, she told me to thank those of you who sent cards and thanks everyone for their prayers. Her sil is here and will be as long as she needs to be. Going to get some paperwork taken care of and change of address, etc. done for dad today. I am trying to spend time with her as much as I can. I may have to fly back later on. She is a fighter. She has another appt. with a Dr. she found who has dealt with her cancer type before. I am not sure how that will go as it has progressed quite a lot. But she feels like she wants to try all avenues I suppose. Her Pastor has been keeping in close contact with her which is a big help and encouragement to her. He just lost his wife to cancer at the beginning of this year. Anyway, I just wanted you all to know.
