Teri, I would like to make my reservation now please, as I having a feeling you could have a busy summer with farmgirl chicks coming to visit.
We should have a SPG Hen House get together at your farm to celebrate the new house and meeting each other, ummm what do you think?

We just adopted an orange marbled Bengel kitten. He has taken over our home and rules our three dogs. It can be quite comical to see him push around our bossy mini Aussie. Thanks for letting me join in the fun:-)

I bet your orange marbled Bengel kitten is already sleeping with the group and is the rule of the roost. They get so sassy. They are so adorable when they are like that and so fun to watch.

Teri, I think we set you up....you have a little over a year to get ready for the onslaught of chicks...LOL. Just henhouse chicks....no hens from the "dark side" though!!! Oh and be prepared for me to bring you plenty of "tuck-ins"....ahahahaha!!!

Marlee! I got my fun 4th of July Box today! I have emailed out pics to all of you! Thank you so much! Big Hug! I will add your awesome little handmade book, card and book mark and beads to the tree! I have not see a book like that one before! Also Matt the Cat stuck his big nose in the box! I will enjoy the candy tonight while I watch "The Bachelorette", Monday is my re-group day, after 3 busy days at the salon desk, and what could be better than Chocolate!! Smiles!! Connie

Connie I am so glad that you liked it and posted pics in emailed I went to look. I love the 4th of July tree. As I emailed you, now why did I not think of that. I had fun get the things ready, and like everyone know I go on a treasure hunt. That what I call it for finding goodies for my sweet sisters. Which I love so dearly! So am glad you love it.

Hi Chicks, I got the most wonderful 4th of July package this afternoon from Sherry, my swap partner! I will take a picture and do a group email tomorrow, but for now I want to thank Sherry so much for all the treasures...First, I received a beautiful handmade vintagey Fourth card :)
Love it Sherry! Then, I opened a darling red, white and blue starred basket filled with all kinds of goodies: star shaped red, white and blue napkins, red, white and blue starred straws, an adorable red tea towel with an embroidered firecracker, a "bank" of red,white and blue Double Bubble which I've never seen before (Debbie or Connie did you tell on me?) and a sweet pack of post-its. NOW, SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST...Sherry made me the most wonderful hand sewn firecrackers. Words don't even describe how cute these are, but I will try. There are 2 taller ones, and one shorter...all made with darling red, white and blue primitive looking fabrics...checked, stars, red. THEN, they each have a thick jute (I think that's the word) cord sticking out of the tips. They are tied together with a muslin ribbon. Oh my gosh, just too cute for words....so I will post pics tomorrow I promise. Thank you thank you thank you Sherry...you are a great swap partner and so talented :)
