Alright chicks here is our June Fun Event. We will have a small 4th of July Swap with partners. Let me know here if you want to participate, I will post partners on June 14th. (Flag Day) Mail out your 4th of July goodies in time for your partner to enjoy them for 4th of July. You can start now planning what you want to send, trying to keep it homemade (if possible) to get it all together, made etc, so you have lots of time, 1 month.
We are all adults so there are no rules, follow your heart as for as your giving,but most of all lets have fun, don't forget your 4th of July Card. I love cards and save each and every one. Most of all follow through do not leave your partner hanging, you of course will have the same partner, whoever you send to they will send back to you. Oh I love 4th of July one of my most favorite Holidays, I am very Patriotic, with lots of flags, Red, White and Blue, I have already started decorating. There is Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July then my Birthday so we are decorated all Red, White and Blue through August. We have flags flying everywhere, hubby is retired military as are other family members and friends and this is just my way of honoring them all.
So, during this fun swap let us not forget our military past and present and honor them over the next few months as we celebrate them and all the holidays honoring them.

| I just wanted you all to know that even though I want to sign up for this I cant at this time as my stroke victim mother is staying with us for a few weeks then I am going to Florida for a couple of weeks after that. I just dont want to commit to something when I am busy then going to be away! You girls have fun with this one and I will join in on the next one! |

Hey Debbie, thank you for the thoughtfulness however, I was just kidding around. I do live in the US and celebrate both holidays. Heck, any excuse for a parrrrrtyyyy <- using the Sponge Bob enunciation! ;o) Thanks anyway but I'm fine with the July 4th

Working on my swap package! Have to get an early start because June is going to be very full for me. I figure if I can get it done early then I will be on time for everything. Need to check the mail out date and write it down. Does anyone else find they have to write everything down anymore?

Oh, and while I'm at it ...... I did receive a card and gift for Mother's day from someone in this hen house and unfortunately, being in the "renovation" mode, I miss placed it. I want to apologize for not writing a thank you. I will say it on this forum Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. I promise, once I find it to write a proper note. We are renovating a room that will become my sewing studio. When we renovate, we tear everything down to bare walls and living in a brick house, it becomes messy. But, once the walls are back in, gosh it was all worth it. So looking forward to my "own" room! Yea! So, thank you again for your thoughtfulness! Again, I apologize for misplacing the envelop so that I could write a proper note! Cheers!

Denise, Write everything down ..... heck I'm about to invest in chips with a GPS tracking capabilities! lol Not sure what is going on with me but .... I seem to be losing everything. Last night I spent an hour looking for a book I had just purchased only to find it pretty much right in front of me. Those darn Sprites, always playing tricks! They are every where!

Carole, yes Mary Jane and Carole got all our cards and she posted them on her Raising Jane Journal that we get updates in our email everyday. Do you not get the updates, then you need to email Brian and let him know as you are missing out on a lot.
The Mothers Day gift of a Wheat Stalk necklace was from me so now we have something to represent our Hen House, every Chick got on but Amber as I have to order more, just a little something I wanted to do for everyone.
