I have just been reminded that MAY 6th is Mary Jane's 60th Birthday, thought it would be nice if all of us could send her a card for her special day. Remember to put your Farmgirl Number and Scattered Prairie Gals under your name so she knows you are from our very special Henhouse.
Let us all make her feel special as she makes all of us feel, because without Mary Jane we would not be special farmgirl sisters and friends.
Also it is Carol Hills Birthday she is Mary Jane's right hand farmgirl and in charge of the "Sister" Issue as well as many things at the farm.
You can send them both a card if you wish at the same address:

Thank you gals for always wanting to participate in what I throw at you, I just like for us to have fun.
Remember May is my month and I will be doing something special for each of you so you will be able to sit back and enjoy.
For June Tammy came up with what I think is a great idea, a picture swap and just letting us know a bit about each other. Like if you are married, have children, live on a farm/homestead what you do with your time. Nothing real personal just a bit about ourselves so we can get to know each other better. I think it would be fun, what do you Gals think? Let me know, you have plenty of time to think about it and I hope all of you will participate.
I am working on new Gals for the Henhouse so don't be surprise if you see a few new names soon:-)

Count me in for June as well. Will send out Bday cards to Maryjane and Carol as well.
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm day by day :) have 'graduated' from a cane to a walker. Adjusting to some 'new normals' is a bit tough, but in Gods strength I'm trying to accept each day and changes. More tests starting next month and possibly starting some cartilaidge building gel injections and such.
One day at a time but I'm hanging in there! And as much as my pride doesn't love a walker, the ortho brace and the new ortho shoes coming? They have become a blessing in allowing me to function better with just day to day basics and they ease the excessive pain!
I'm going to try and 'glam' up the walker with a farmgirl style walker hanging purse, lol!
Saw some online and patterns to make.......maybe a denim with some cute quilted fabric!
Anyway, enough of my story......hanging in there and doing ok.
Hope each of you are doing well. How's everyone's weather??
Spring is trying to get here!!! My gdaughter helped me start some herb and vegs seedlings but have them inside until the weather stays warmer and less stormy.

My daughter is 15 also Carole....isn't it fun....LOL :/ This week we're getting ready for her boyfriend's Senior Ball so we've had hair highlights, mani/pedi, spray tan, dress alterations and more...yikes!

Hi everyone, been sitting with an elderly lady over the weekend.
But I am a step mom to two, grammy to 4.

| Yes, the newest member of the clan is a mom x 4. Ceara is 30, Michael is 29, Meghan is 27 and Brigid is 26. Yep thats 4 in five years, wouldnt have had it any other way! Also I am a first time grandma to a baby girl of my son and his wife Char. The little darlings name is Grace! |

Darlene, going to use a denim and also some blues, red, floral fabric for pockets?
I'm not the best at sewing? But going to try! :)
We are finally get a bit of sunshine here! Mercy! How's everyone else doing with weather?
