01/12/13: I think everyone who is signing up and has signed up, so I'm closing that sign up window and have SENT EMAILS TO YOU WITH PARTNERS!!!
Remember: MAIL OUT IS FEBRUARY 1st!

Happy New Year to all you FGSW Henhouse "Chicks",
I'm hoping that this new year finds you all well, looking forward to a new year and enjoying your family and friends.
VALENTINES DAY is coming up and after a couple of queries I'd like to suggest TWO things for us Henhouse "Chicks".
1. Just mail VALENTINE CARDS to each "Chick" in the Henhouse. There are 13 of us, so you would send 12.
This is just a suggestion, not a requirement. They can be purchased or handmade
2. VALENTINE "CHICK" GIFT to a partner. Just some sweet items you would put together for the occasion. Nothing expensive. Suggestions would be tea/coffee, chocolate, hankie, notecards, etc., etc.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SIGNUP HERE and then I'll give you a partner to send to. This is just for ONE PARTNER, not to all the chicks in the Henhouse.
SIGNUP IS CLOSED and you would MAIL OUT BY FEBRUARY 1st!

Ceejay and Fellow Chicks, I've been MIA for a long time and would like to get back to be a more active member. If there are no objections or reservations I too would like to participate.

It was Christmas at my house again with 6 farmgirl packages waiting for me yesterday. I do not check my mail everyday but maybe I should.
Diana thank you so much for the wonderful valentine gifts, wow there are so many special things, I really love the quilt hanging and I know you made it which makes it that much more special. I collect pin cushions so the heart pin cushion which I am sure you made to is a nice addition to my collection, the valentine mug with tea and chocolate, scrubbie, pens, note cards, pot holders, and she made my card too, everything was just wonderful, thank you so very much. This was such a fun swap and you and I have never swapped together before.
Got your Valentine Card also Laurie, thank you too.
Thank you CJ for this one it was great.

sisters, my cards finally hit the post office yesterday....my super at work got a real chuckle out of me each day as i woudl sit at my desk and work on them! she and i have very similar procrastinator type personalities so she knew it was a challenge and she knew it would have been simpler if i had store bought cards! but i chose a simple challenge and i made it- well-after the deadline but before "the day"!
now- pam; i rec'd a most wonderful much loved box from you a few days ago but i haven't opened it yet cuz i haven't mailed yours- am hoping against hope to get it out tomorrow during lunch hour...i am sorry that i am so bad about deadlines!
this is my new year's resolution/goal, gals...to get better about deadlines!
