11/16/12: I know this is REALLY last minute, since "Tie One On Day" is coming up in a few days. BUT, I thought I'd "ressurect" this thread to encourage you Henhouse "Chicks" to take this project on again this year.

How about it Farmgirls Southwest Henhouse Chicks?
How about we take this on as a project for our Henhouse as something we can do in our own communities.
We would take some bread, tied up in an apron with a note of encouragement and deliver it to someone who comes to mind as needing encouragement.
- the Wednesday before Thanksgiving
- attach the "Farmgirl is" card you received in your Henhouse kits
- attach one of the Henhouse business cards you received in your Henhouse Kits . . just write your name on it.

I think that is a terrific idea, and yes, I'm in also.
By the by...have you all had a merit badge "going green" bag swap? If yes, I will organize one with friends here in Paonia, if not...would you all like to?

We have done bag swaps . . . but if you post here in the Henhouse for another one, you might get some participation. You can give it a try.
BTW: I'm getting your "Henhouse Kit" together so it will go out in tomorrow's mail. Sorry it's taking so long . . .
