I just applied for some merit badges!! Happy!!
I am completing my knitting badge and the shopping green badge. I will need to share my thoughts on shopping green here, so bear with me, lol!
I have always been kinda green, LONG before it became cool to be so. I like my food as natural as possible, as close to God made it as possible. Always thought things getting plastic and full of preservatives, was not the best idea. Loved in the old movies or in Europe, how you would see ladies shopping with their baskets. Thought that was pretty neat! Now with the reusable bags and the farmers mkts, we can do that here. This spring/summer, I want to get a basket rather than the bag for our farmers mkt here.
I was raised by a father that was more of a conservationalist and his views stuck with me. To respect nature and to be careful how we leave it to future generations.
