Ok here we go: Pendleton's Country Market 1446 E 1850 Rd. Lawrence Ks. Meet Nov. 6th at 10:00 am at the market. If interested there is a gourd Christmas decoration workshop we can do. Cost is $30.00 and includes all supplies. How ever many gourds you can finish decorating in about a 2 hr timeframe are yours to take home. We need to RSVP on the workshop this week, so post here if interested!! Bring your own picnic lunch and if you are able and would like, bring a dish, snack or dessert to share with everyone. For those wanting to spend the night? They suggested looking into Desoto, Ks for motel accomodations. The Super 8 was recommeded. Lawrence is full up due to football games!! Super 8 addresss is: 34085 Commerce Dr Desoto, Ks. Phone:1-913-583-3880. Ladies, bring your farmgirl aprons and lets enjoy the day with each other!!!

I've got my room booked at the Super 8 in Desoto Ks for Friday night, we won't get in until late as my daughter doesn't get off work until 5:00pm.
Then we will pick up Kathy/KanMogirl at Rock, go up and catch the turnpike and we're on our way. if we are not going to meet until 10:00am that will give us 2hrs to go to the Farmer's Market in Lawrence (800 block of New Hampshire). They start at 7:00am and then on to Pendleton's. Maybe we can pick up something there to share at our picnic.

I emailed Karen at Penleton's to see if they would be doing the Table Top Christmas, it is listed at $45.00. With only my self and husband at home I mostly use a small tree and it doesn't take up much room. Any way I haven't heard back from her yet. Connie

I did, but for me, with Tom not working, have to watch my money. I'd love to do at least one of the workshops, but will have to wait to do that. Maybe this summer we can go again and check it out. Are you planning to take one?? Hugs, Brenda

Will be talking with Linda later today and see how many we have signed up. If you have not notified Linda that you are coming, try to by this weekend. So we will have a count. Hope you all can make it. Hugs, Brenda

I have spoke with Karen a few times. She is willing to do any workshop for us but we need at least five. Sending out email invites today and tomorrow. So we will see if more respond. If not, Brenda and I are working on some Holiday theme crafts that we can easily do ourselves when together and then finsih up at home. Would that be ok?

I'm coming and bring my daughter, Trisha. I would love to take the workshop, but I'm being money cautious for the time being so count us out on the workshop. I would love to go again in the spring or summer ( I just have to be careful of the heat).

Connie, Brenda and I are in the same boat. So, ladies we are planning to do a simple, fun craft that was actually a MJF swap a bit back. We will holiday theme it!! Think it will be fun for us and Brenda and I already have some supplies. If any of you have pinking shears, bring them please! We will have a simple day, but we will have farmgirl fun and enjoy meeting one another and our families! Blessings, Linda

I'm really getting excited! My DH will be driving me there, so if you have a DH who wants to come, bring him along. Will help Tom not feel so out of place. I still don't have my apron ready!!! Better get busy!!!
