Hi, Jonnie!
Well, you must've already joined our henhouse, so you don't need to sign up for the Gulf Coast Farmgirls... I need a head count. LOL! We'll start with you. :P

Nadine, where is Devers? Lived in Texas all my life and never heard of it..(but I suppose since it's so big, it's no surprise..!)

Good morning!

I'm in the Houston area (ha, ha.....that really narrows it down, doesn't it?) I have family in Orange, Beaumont and Fannett. I've lived in Beaumont, Crystal Beach (which is now gone due to Ike), Galveston, and now Porter.

So, hook me up with the gang!

Blessings
Catherine

I'm 15 minutes north of the Airport (IAH) Well, I should say somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the time of day. Isn't it crazy? Sometimes I can make it to downtown in 30 minutes highway time but most of the time it's almost an hour.

Catherine, I used to live off 1960 near the IAH airport. :) Closer to Spring but not far at ALL.

Well,we're actually closer to Galveston that we are to you. We're a little south of the beltway off I45. Maybe we could all get together sometime?

I am a TexMex food lover. There are Pappasitos all over the area. Down Jonnie's way is Gringo's at I45 and Fuqua.

That Gringo's is not very good, but there's a Casa Ole'(?) right next to it that is pretty good. Faransgirl and I eat there regularly.

Casa Ole' would be great.

I homeschool my kids, so I can be available during the weekday. Weeknights and weekends okay, too. This weekend my kids are showing for 4-H so it would have to be after this weekend.

I'm way late on taking care of the animals so I won't check back here till this afternoon.

Perhaps we should start a new topic for this meeting?

I've never been to Pappasitos, but love that Casa Ole'! A week-end lunch would probably be the best for me. I work full time during the week and Faransgirl and I have horse barn duties every afternoon unless we make special arrangements.

It would be fun to meet you all!
