Denise, your package came, the tissue paper is so beautiful! I read far enough into the card to realize your travel plans overlap with the earliest I could possibly ship your package, I am so behind! Can I slide the one you sent me under the tree (we got a real one, not the monstera, haha) to finish unwrapping at Christmas and send you "December" in early January? So excited and apologetic at once! <3

Yes that would work fine for me. That way we won't have to worry about it being held in the mail. I'm glad you got it. Merry Christmas!

Thank you April form the lovely soap package. I love the lotion and the soap smells so good.

Hi Julie, I received your gingerbread box last night... thank you so much! It was so festive and fun to open with all the little gingerbread people themed items, just so very sweet. Loved reading your letter, however, I was so sorry your hubby is injured, sending love and healing thoughts his way. I will write back soon. I attempted our local post office yesterday to send you December package, but it was an unsuccessful, will be trying again this morning. Merry Christmas, dear NSSS!

Debbie Klann.... you have touched my soul so much with your beautiful heart-felt gifts! Today I opened my December box, received 2 days ago. I love my knitted hat in my favorite colors! My daughter was so impressed! She and the babies are visiting today and tomorrow. The hand carved wooden pin, you said your uncle made it? It's gorgeous! A beautiful planner i so need for 2026 and a beautiful tea towel. What really spoke to me was the print. One of my top favorite moments on the Chosen and in scripture. Such a beautiful scene of faith and love. I can't tell you enough how much I thank you for the sweet meaningful gifts. God bless and a beautiful Merry Christmas hon. Thank you

WOW my NSSS Debbie ended the year with a bang! So many thoughtful gifts, like the Marjolein Bastian planner for 2026, an ornament with a shared sentiment (I wish you lived next door), a fuzzy Smokey Bear, and a cute Christmas apron. Also a wonderful magazine and a nice thick book to keep me reading for a while. She even included crafty things like a beaded jewelry kit and a paint by number canvas of a cute black cat. To complete the box I also received some cute note cards, a blinking Christmas necklace, cozy Santa socks, some cocoa mix, and a cute spatula and cookie cutter set. All of the little things were in a cute reindeer stocking. Thank you Debbie for everything, you have been a wonderful sweet swap partner!! Merry Christmas to you and your family and a Happy New Year!!

Denise-- I hope your trip south is going smoothly!

I so enjoyed waiting until Christmas morning to open your December package. After I posted such an underwhelming update on what we had gotten around to baking on the other thread, now we are supplied! I love this apron and even though it is Christmas colors, I plan to use it all year round, maybe even into town! The same goes for the festive potholder, snowflake, dishtowel, socks and candle holders. A rolling pin is so timely because several of mine have been devoted to playdough and sculpy and the last one succumbed to Jens's pizza-making kit. I am re-equipped! Fallon and I are particularly excited to try following the embroidery pattern and use the candy cane activity book pen. I used to love sneaking peeks at my mom's Women's Day back as a teen and am so excited to have my own copy as an adult to relive some of that nostalgia while actually being able to execute on the ideas without parental supervision. How on earth did you find wrapping tissue paper to match the cute pack of facial tissue? (also much needed this season ;) )

So glad you like it. I didn't realize the print on the tissue paper matched! I hope you enjoy all of it with Fallon.

I received the most wonderful December NSSSS package today from Chris! My favorite color tissue paper too. I have never had the bubble tea but look forward to trying as well as the other tea. She gave me diffuser flower sticks and tissues which most definitely come in handy this time of year! Also I'm guessing she and Fallon made some diy bird suet rings and passed along a great recipe to make them.
There is a wonderful bird book that I will be perusing when I return from class tonight, a Marjolien Bastian coloring book, stamps with ravens, and a straw with a sort of spoon/ strainer on the end and a brush to clean it. And a fabulous calendar of the becorns. Not sure I spelled it right but it is these adorable little acorn people. My daughter is going to be a bit jealous as I know she has been looking at them too. Also a little gnome fellow for my knick knack shelf and a Hobby Lobby gift card too! Thank you so much Chris for being my NSSS! I've enjoyed and yes I will continue with our correspondence!

Enjoy! Thank you for giving us extra time to put it together, Christmas season seems to swamp us more every year-- we never remember to plan for lost days fighting colds and whatnot.

We are dubious about the suet rings-- our California test run fell apart right away, but maybe your mob of crows can still make use of it even if it is not super aesthetic.

Chris,
I put them in the fridge as soon as I got them. Hopefully the cold weather will keep them intact.

Excellent, you read my mind! We hung one suet puck in a leftover mesh produce bag (avocados) and it has kept its shape, but no bird has actually visited it. If you discover more birding tricks we can try out here, please share.
