Way to go Debbie!!! That's amazing!! I really need to sit down and apply for badges. And finish the 3 books I started reading for badges. It figures when I stop getting the magazine my name gets published in it LOL! I was getting a bunch of them piled up to be read and never getting around to reading them, so I let my subscription expire. Maybe this is Mary Jane's way of telling me I need to get those badges applied for and renew my subscription :)

I added your badges to the total. We need 69 more to meet the goal of 200. I know this is an extremely busy time of year and we may not get all 200 earned but that's OK! We met our original goal of 100 and it's been a lot of fun having you all join me in this challenge. Let's see what we can get done this year yet and then we'll see about next year's goal.

Wanted to share with all of you Heather’s and my letter about our Merit Badge Challenge that MaryJane printed in the December/January Issue. When MaryJane and I talked on the phone a few months ago she said she would try to print them in the end of year Magazine and she did! I did not want to tell all of you as I wanted it to be a surprise. Like Heather I did not have the magazine as my subscription expired and I did not realize it. But we both have the copy now:-)

Also by the end of the week a surprise will be coming in the mail from me to each of you that earn your badges this year as part of our HH challenge. I had talked to MaryJane about it and she gave me her Blessing. So watch your mailboxes:-)

Big Hugs,
Debbie

It's quite a feeling to see your name in the magazine LOL!

I'm thinking next year we can try for 150 badges. (If I would have gotten my scattered flocks of ducks to line up and applied for the badges,I probably would have gotten up there this year) Let me know what your thoughts are for next years goal.

Congratulations ladies on being recognized in Mary Jane’s magazine. I for one am very proud to be part of the Wildflowers. Y’all inspire me every day. I vow to earn more badges next year Heather. I have several in the works to start the year off and only earned one this year. I’m trying to get my ducks in a row too, lol.

I sort of ran out of steam this year on the badges but I'm happy I was able to do as many as I did before life got busy. Will definitely be in pursuit of getting more accomplished this coming year.
Debbie,
My subscription expired too so I did not get this issue. Thanks for sharing the article.

I think 150 is a great goal for 2025. I will be working on more and applying for finished ones after the first of the year.
Thank you Heather for kicking me in the behind from afar to earn my my badges. It really is more fun doing them as a team with all of you.
Great job Wildflowers!

Hi Heather - You could add my recent Community Service - beginner badge to the list. I had received my Candlemaking - intermediate & the Food Allergy Awareness - Expert badges this year also, but technically I wasn't a Wildflower member at that stage, so not sure if you can count those. I will definitely be working towards more badges in the new year, so 150 would be a very reasonable goal. I have total faith in this group to achieve that goal. Thanks for motivating us!!

I'm in too, Heather!

Do any Wildflowers blog? I dusted my old one off and started posting progress toward badges to help keep myself organized, but haven't completed any yet. https://steamstead.blogspot.com/

Thank you for letting me know, Denise!
I found a way to share specific posts, maybe this will this work? https://steamstead.blogspot.com/2024/12/trans-catalina-trail-prep.html
If not, hopefully when I get back (12/31), hubby will help me troubleshoot.
