That's just fine with me. Okay so can one of you give me a quick reminder on the pocket letter. For some reason I'm just not getting it!
What was the backover swap?
Erin, I completely agree. I am not a morning person either so getting up early in the summer is just wrong! But at least your almost in the clear.
Joyce, sounds like your summer is about ready to clear up for you. How nice to get a break.
Our weekend was really slow and relaxing. We mainly just hung out as a family playing with toys. We did play in the water table yesterday. I worked a little more on some crochet and made our meal plan for this week. I have a friend who keeps reminding me of how badly I need to read the Harry Potter books. I am a Harry Potter nerd. I love the movies and anything associated with it ( I have 2 pairs of sweat pants and 2 shirts that are Harry Potter themed). But I have so much I need to do that any free time I have is going to crochet orders or other UFOs I need/ want done! So this weekend I officially decided that once I finish the current pot holder I'm working on I will start the first book. I may quickly make me a book mark to use first. Ha ha

Krista the bakeover swap was a swap Shannon set up in our henhouse. They made bakeover covers for each other. I didn't feel I was up to the task.
Here's a thread you should check out to get an idea of what to do. This is a previous pocket letter swap Joyce and I participated in.

Joyce, no rush! I think I got this now! I just need to find a baseball card holder and then I can get started. What size are each pocket? Maybe I can start before I get the holder.

Erin, I am a little behind on mine. Last weekend was very busy. We celebrated my moms birthday and our anniversary, so we were gone all weekend. I will get it finished and out this week. So sorry for the delay.

So, I did go to the post office today, however, I did not mail your pocket letter yet, Joyce, because I realized I've been sort of an idiot paying way too much for postage to Canada! So, I need to repackage it, and hopefully I'll get back there tomorrow to mail it off. It wasn't a total waste since I had several things to mail, and I got the customs form to fill out. Sorry for the further delay!

Well I had mine in a small priority mail box but I need to switch it to something comparable, but plain. I'm wondering if I just wrap it in brown paper in the priority box... that would probably work. Just thinking while I type... haha. Mine has something glass in it, so I need a box. If yours is just paper and nothing breakable, you could make sure all the pockets are secure and use a mailing envelope.

Thanks Erin! I think mine should work in a mailing envelope. I will go try. I will be heading out tomorrow so I will take it to the post office then! My oldest and I are having a mommy and son date. This gives him a chance to get my undivided attention and it helps him have such a better attitude! Plus he will think it's cool taking mail to the post office! Can't wait until you get it.

Erin, my tracking number says you should have received your package on the 14. I sure hope it made it to you safely.
Joyce, I received my lovely package from you yesterday. It probably came sooner but I was out of town and just got the mail yesterday. Thank you so much! We just got back from a trip to the beach so it was nice to come home to another mini beach! I love the color of the sand. It's beautiful. Thank you for the stickers and the charms. I'm excited to turn them into a project. I'm also excited to give the tea a try. Thank you so much again. This was a fun swap.

Yes Krista! It came in while I was on vacation. I took pictures of it, that I'll post soon. I took them on the ipad and I'm on my computer right now. Thank you so much for your pocket letter! It was so cute, and everything was still in tact when I received it! Sorry I haven't been online in a while. I was in Michigan on vacation, and have been easing back into being at home.
