Grace, I like that idea. It would be nice to have some of them on hand for unexpected company or events. Especially around holidays.

Wow, Grace, you have accomplished a lot on top of moving and setting up a new house~! I am impressed!! Your latest apron is really a perfect solution for house chores, gardening, or even cooking. I love that big generous pocket that has so many uses! Was this one of your vintage patterns?

Winnie, this particular pattern has been around for ever...and revised over and over again.
it's funny.... if you really look/study patterns, you'll see that most patterns are just revised... they print up new pattern jackets and use different fabrics... and, for the past decade... McCalls & Simplicity have been printing "Retro" patterns of the 1950-60's...
even apron patterns are the same... just done in different fabrics & trims...
This apron reminds me of June Cleaver of Leave it to Beaver... in an old episode, June walked into the boys room wearing this style apron over her dress, heels and pearl necklace... ya, that's what I wear when I clean....

Working on cushion covers for a glider rocker my brother in law gave me. belonged to my sister. The cushions could probably have been cleaned somehow but They aren't a color I like so I am using up some of my stash to make new covers. Took them apart already so I have a pattern for the new ones. Need to press them and get the new ones cut out.

altho' these were UFO's,, I am happy they are done..

simple block quilt turned on an angle..
I lined the backside so as to not have to look at the raw edges, and the pattern called for Bias tape around the edges...to much fussy work..
I found an old quilt apron (years ago) at a Thrift.. it was so sweet and well worn.. I will have to did through my containers (yes, containers) of aprons and see if I can find it.

Finished a baby quilt for my niece's 3rd baby, and made pillows for the big sister and brother. Baby is due at the end of the month.

I'm also reading a book called "The Quilters Apprentice" about a young woman learning how to quilt from an older woman.

Just got my 25 hours in for Nellie Will-Do on this latch hook project. I have been having a great time making this for my mom! I don't know how to knit or crochet or anything yet, but I am going to learn thanks to you all c:

A friend's birthday is today so I made her potholders from a pattern in a Tasha Tudor book. I accidentally cut extra squares so I think I'll make some more.

Love the potholders, Vanessa. Your friend is going to love them!

Wow Aidan your latch hook is beautiful.

Haven't been working on many crafts right now. Been taking my grandson (4 yrs old) tent camping. He is loving it!

I did manage to finish another knitted dress for my great great niece's doll.

(this is not her doll, just my model so I know it will fit)
