2015, I made these 2 Tropical quilts for a friend...
(This one is a table topper)

she had been collecting fabrics from Hawaii for years and then gave the fabric to me for how ever/what ever I wanted to use it.
(This one is a lap quilt)

Aloha

Beautiful quilts, Grace!! I especially love the idea of using your Dad's old shirts for a quilt. Did you give any to other family who were close to your Dad?

Hey Winnie,, these were my uncle's shirts... I had my cousins (his children)...go through his shirts and pick the ones they wanted in their quilts... I reused the shirt buttons to tack down the fabric.

It was a sweet pleasure to make these quilts for them.

ok, just a few more...

this is a silly Christmas one I did,,, I did finish it, but can't find the photo of it...

I like to make practice blocks for future use...

and these 3 Glamping pics I made using a stitchery pattern that I traced onto muslin blocks, then I hand and machine stitched.
and grandma Diana is my 'go-to' top stitcher... she is also a fabulous quilter..

I found a few more 'oldies' that I made so many years ago.

a mug rug

small tree project.

simple quilt.

jelly roll... I made this red one for my mother just before her stroke,, she still snuggles with it.

I made my very first, simple block quilt in 1974... do you remember when you made your 1st quilt?

I really enjoyed seeing everyone’s quilts, Grace, I particularly love your little pink table topper with cherries. I will take more pics later of the rest of the quilts I have, but for now, here are two - the top one is one I made for my daughter, the bottom is the one on our bed. I hand quilted the bottom one.

Nice quilted things, Grace. Here are a few more of my quilts.
I enjoy seeing what everyone has done with quilts.

Chistmas quilt made by cutting up a panel and making it look like you are looking at a scene thrugh a window.

This is another Christmas - 12 Days of Christmas. Blocks were from a swap where we were assigned the numbers and used items from our state to represent them. Mine were 2 Cowboys, 3 Cats playing in Bags, 8 Cactus, and 10 twinkling lights.

Star Wars quilt I made for my grandson, Greg.

A crazy cat quilt I made -- gifted to our granddaughter

Small quilt I made from the leftovers from a guild quilt - there was a drawing and I won the heart and pinwheel blocks. I added the log cabin borders to the blocks.

Another panel quilt I made and gifted to a friend.

A quilt I made for another friend. He was a policeman and collected police patches from all over the US and Europe. I made some of them into a quilt by appliqueing them onto snowball blocks and enlarged his badge and number for the center star.

Another window pane quilt I made for a friend who loves ducks - each block is PIECED with ducks in the water, rock, sky, and greenery fabrics.

An appliqued Nativity wall hanging I made for a friend who collects nativities.

I hosted a swap for blocks representing thoughts or images from 9-11. There were some very neat blocks, and one came from Australia.

Here are just three of my quilts. The very large one is the 100th anniversary quilt for the Minnesota State Parks. The medium one is the 125th anniversary quilt for the state parks. These are at Itasca state park, headwaters of the Mississippi River.
