Surprise, surprise for me today from my Sweet Seasons's Swap partner , Nora!! Today is my birthday and she somehow knew(did I mention date?? can't remember! LOL!!) and sent me this delicious box of apple candy from the Shenandoah Candy company in Virginia along with the cutest card. Thank-you so much, Lenora! What a fun surprise and I had never tasted the candy before. It is yummy and that box is adorable.

As you can see, there are already empty candy papers!! They are old fashioned jelly wrapped in sugar and remind me of apple cider. So good!

Jenny I received my package just in time to enjoy it for the 4th. Thank you for all the lovely goodies. I put the bird bath together and put it in my front flower bed. It is so beautiful. The blood orange marmalade is delicious!!! Thank you again.

Lenora, I am happy that you enjoyed your fall box of goodies! I had so much fun putting it all together. Fall is my favorite season and it is fun to be able to share it with Farmgirls who love it too!! I hope you will be seeing signs of fall soon up there in Virginia.

Happy Fall to me today from Lenora!!! Oh what fun I had opening up all these cute fall goodies!!
There was this beautiful cross stitch picture of a farm with an apple tree and pumpkins in the yard. It is just so sweet and so me!! Did you make this? I want to live in a house like the one in the picture!! LOL!! then there was a fall wooden plaque, cute wooden pumpkin, spiced tea mix and tea ball, darling fall garden flag and some really neat personalized notecards. Thank-you Lenora for such a special box!! I will enjoy using everything this coming Fall too. It has been such a pleasure to be your Sweet Season's Swap partner this year. We have had a lot of fun surprising one another each season!!

I am so happy you liked what I sent. I love Fall. Pumkins, pumkins, and more pumpkins! Yours has probably started, we are still in the mid 90's and it's awful. But inside my house it's VERY Fall like.

Hey ladies!! I promise I didn't disappear off the Earth. I've had some family issues I had to take care of. My mom has been sick and spent some days in the hospital. We still are not sure what is going on but hope to know more this month. I'm happy to see y'all have remembered your partners. I can't say the same for myself. So to my sweet partner I'm so so sorry for neglecting you. I will send you a really good package out to you soon.
Next business, if someone would like to take over Sweet Seasons Swap for next year I would appreciate it. I've been overwhelmed here lately and don't like feeling I'm neglecting my sisters. I love you all dearly! Thank you for being the awesome ladies you are.

Well, along with Turkeys being fixed and pumpkin pies baked for Thanksgiving, one of Santa's elves arrived late Wednesday afternoon and left me an early surprise package from Lenora!! It was packed full of all sorts of wonderful goodies too. There was a great LogCabin quilt making book, a Farmhouse Cooking book by favorite author Barbara Swell, Christmas kitchen towel & hotpad, Christmas socks, 2020 calendar, reindeer ornament, adorable little apple bird house, a Valentine's kitchen towel and heart candy maker, and this yummy milk chocolate "orange" which is round and breaks into orange like slices of chocolate candy.
Thank-you Lenora for such a wonderful December treat! It has been great fun being your swap partner this year and getting to know you better. I hope you have a wonderful upcoming holiday season and a very Happy New Year too!!

 Winnie, your package arrived on the perfect day. I needed it today. Thsnk you for all the beautiful gifts. I placed tha angel bell on the tree right away. The trivit is in the table awaiting tonights hot dish. I had a chocolate or two, Jay will get the rest. I love the litte wooden tray. It will be great for cheese and crackers.
