Oh Krista! Thank you for listening. If you were here with me, it would be a great comfort.

Love your purses, Grace. And your slippers, Krista. And everything else shown here.

Today I plan on making some microwave bowl potholders and some more crayon roll-ups for the shop I have some of my stuff in, making an apron for a farmgirl as my half of a barter, and putting together my travel fabrics into a quilt for our motorhome. Let's see how fasts I can do this! I will post pics when I get done.

UPDATE: The apron is done, the bowls and crayon roll-ups are cut out, and the travel squares are sewn together for the quilt top (just need the borders).

Farmgirl hugs,

Thank you! I've been in a card making mood I guess! Here are a few more I finished:

I tried using a regular BIC ball point pen in my Cricut Explore to write the wording in the last card and it worked pretty good!

Wow what an ambitious group! I am working on embroidering some beach towels for the grandkids for Easter. Just finished beach bags. I am also working on two fundraising baskets for a friend - one bath basket with towels/spa items and the other snowballs - for a snowball battle in July!

I was talking with a neighbor today on our walk and found out she doesn't have any bibs that fit around her babies neck. So I decided I will make her one that ties and ensure I make the ties long enough to fit. Hopefully I can be of some help. Now to find a pattern!

Krista....I'm in love with those slippers! I have yet to find a pattern that I actually like. Are they difficult?

I just finished a fairy door. I haven't worked in the clay in a while so of course I just had to make one. I'm giving it away under Across The Fence.

hugs,

Christine, they actually are fairly easy. I could finish a "prepped" pair in a day if I could just sit and crochet. The hardest part is poking the holes and it's not really because it's hard it's because it sucks lol! I know there are easier methods but I just haven't tried them. I poke my holes with a tapestry needle.

Marcy, I love your fairy doors. You do such great work. I really like your Christmas one! Do you sell them? I would love to buy one for me and my mom!

Last night I worked on the baby bib. All I have left is to add the ties! So excited!

Thanks Dena and Grace!

Thank you Marie! That means a lot! I love being able to find a pattern now, read it, and create what it's supposed to be. It's amazing how much I have learned and I find very little that scares me away anymore!

I'm presently working on a 1930's flying geese quilt. I wanted to use up my 1930's scraps .... since I needed 1,700 rectangles I ended up making more scraps, as I had to dip into my stash! I tell you, my scraps multiply when I'm not looking. I can never see the bottom of those bins! Sigh! To make the quilt less daunting, I organized my rectangles into bags of 100 and another bag of 200 squares.

So far I have 1,000 flying geese pieced and squared up ... with 700 more to go! I love quilting!

Marcy, what an adorable door! I just love it!

Krista, cute bib! That kid will be stylin'!

Catch you later! Cheers!
