Looking to buy a copy of the premier issue of Mary Jane's Farm magazine. Owned all of the issues at one point; had a generous streak and passed them on a year or so ago. Just ordered all available back issues but the premier issue is sold out.
Anyone interested in selling a copy? Or, perhaps someone would like to trade for some Small Farmer's Journal issues (Summer, Fall & Winter 2005)?
Hope to hear from someone soon!

Bev -- the Premier issue is the one that I'd love to have too. However, I've resigned myself to the fact that it probably won't happen anytime in the near future. Since it's hard to come by I'm not sure if anyone will want to part with their copy. Good luck!

The Farm did a pass-around with some of their copies of the Premier issue a while ago. Wouldn't it be great if they did that again?

I would love to see maybe a second print of the premier issue.....hint hint. One could possibly pre-order and that would allow Mary Jane to know exactly how many would need to be printed. I myself would be willing to pay extra knowing I would be getting such a treasure. Bev, I ordered all the back issues as well, and am loving them..... MJ

Julia, I'm so happy to see you here still! I hadn't been on very often in recent months and when I did get back on, I tried to see if either you or the other Julia from up north were still here and didn't see any recent posts from either of you. Glad you're here! Our oldest daughter is recently engaged to a young man from Scottsburg (graduate of Reedsport H.S.) Small world. Hope to visit with you soon. |

Wouldn't that be wonderful! I hear murmurings of a possible second round of travel for the premier issue - but nothing for sure yet. I'm not sure about another printing, but I would be willing to pre-order that one, FOR SURE, myself!!!!
XOXO, Libbie

Hi Ladies-
I was chatting with MaryJane a little about wanting to pass around the Premiere issue again. It looks like we should be able to get this project going! Yay!
Last time the farm sent out the premier issue, there was a journal that went along with it. This time I was thinking of sending out the issue and sending some stationary paper. That way we won't have to worry about filling up a journal- Our journal can become as big as it/we want it to!
So if you want to participate in the pass-around of the Premier issue, please email me the following:
Your Name Your Forum Name Your Address your phone number
I will send out the Premier issue along with the Stationary for you to Journal on. Each person can keep the Premier issue for a week and then you will send it back to the farm. I will then copy the Journal so each person can see the journal-in-the-making and forward the magazine on to the next person on the list. After the magazine has made the rounds I will get the Stationary journal bound!
Thanks Ladies! I will get in contact with you as you email me to sign up!

Hi ladies-
I am so glad that you all are so excited about this! I am too! It might take me a few days to get everything ironed out and completely prepared but I have been getting your emails! There are a few ideas I have floating around for the project and supplies to gather. I will keep you all updated as to when to expect the first mailing.
