Well, Boo Hoo. My little "taco truck" post office has finally bit the bullet and shut down. We will now have to go to the Post Office in Troy which is 15 miles away. I was thinking that with the price of gas and everything else going sky high, that perhaps we should sign up for the in-home postal service. I think they send you a postal scale and all the instructions to handle your own packages and print your own postage on your computer. I really don't know anything about it. Are there any Farmgirls out there who use this service? If so, can you please enlighten me?

Jean, I use an online service called pirateship. I use my food scale to weigh packages and pay online and print the labels. There is no membership fee either which is nice. I’ll leave the link below. :)

NO doubt about it, Farmgirl Mail is the Best!! I think the surprise factor is part of the excitement too. Old fashion regular mail is not very often these days. We all get advertising and catalogues we would never use stuffed into our mailboxes every day. The is why finding a surprise piece of Farmgirl mail is such surprise and always uplifting.
