I just got caught up on this thread! Wow, you girls have been busy the last couple of months and I LOVE all of the potholders!!! I am going to join you!
I have a couple of those little holders for pot/skillet handles and I love them...especially for cast iron skillets.
I think a Potholder Party is an excellent idea!!!!

I love being "Jubileed". Dianna "Suny58" gifted me a beautiful handmade potholder - love the colors - a sweet note and something sweet to eat. Thank you Dianna.

I received a hand crochet/felted pit holder from Michele,, luv it! Hmmm, it just might become my soup bowl snuggle...it is so soft, heck, I just might snuggle with it!

Also in today's mail came a potholder from
Dianna, I luv the travel them, and fingers crossed, hubby and I will be able to hit the road and travel this summer... I am taking this potholder as an Oman for traveling!
Thank you Dianna, oh, and the chocolate marshmallow barely made it from the package to my mouth,, I had to hide the evidence that you sent chocolate, or else I would have had to share it with my hubby! Lol!

It's great to have nice new clean pot holders, no more burned, stained ones..

I  have Been jubileed. Thank you Dianna for the sweet potholder and the sweet treat. I love the fabric.
I had to include the one Grace sent me as well. This one has become my 3 year old granddaughters favorite potholder. She loves pink and piggies so it is a win-win. I am still working on my potholders, but they will all go out before May 1.

:) I'm happy to see they are being received! I had collected so many squares from the fabric swap. I decided to practice, and I mean really practice on making potholders so I could make a quilt out of the floral ones I've saved up. The are filled with the heat proofed cotton from hl so they are safe. Not perfect but safe. ;) I told a special farmgirl friend I'd never make another one after making 14 or so and only 8-9 worth sending, lol! Grace of course was and is my inspiration. Maybe someday I'll try the fancy ones, lol!!

We still had snow when I started my potholder, so it is a fall/winter type. This is the first potholder I have ever made, plus I sewed it by hand ! Our snow is finally starting to melt we are supposed to have rain today so that should help spring come along.
