Oh the Music Man is our of our favorite movies and all of us still sing the songs when we watch it. Ron Howard was just the cutest child actor.
Jean love the story thank you for sharing it with us.
Another thing that I feel should be added to our stash is a Hankie as we always need a Hankie close by.

And, I guess I need to look for the Music Man movie, haven't seen much prior to 1995 when I met my hubs... he's a movie and tv buff - I was always outside in nature, hiking, at the beach, camping, never watched much TV, still don't really... but I do love a good movie here and there!
Im excited so many of you ladies are joining... the more the merrier! My haberdashery is complete and wrapped and I may just create a haberdashery gift for my mama for Christmas... I think she will love that!

Oh yes Wanda! We have the copy with Robert Preston and Shirley Jones and a very little Ron Howard. Love that movie. I watch it at least once a year. My family has been known to speak in movie quotes and this is one of the ones we favor.

Debbie, several years ago I saw some train cases or small luggage pieces that were made pretty when someone covered them with torn wrapping papers. I remember they were covered with torn bits of Christmas paper...because they were then filled with Christmas flowers and greenery. Come to think of it...I think they were the make up cases, that came with luggage sets...back in the day.

You are right Marilyn they were the make up cases to a set of luggage “back in the day”. What a great idea the Christmas wrapping paper to dress one up filled with gifts. I am not sure at all how I want to redo mine, I think decoupage would work too.

Evening April and all the ladies that have joined so far. I have read through this post and love all of it, so please sign me up for this swap. When I was in Redding to go for surgery, not! Anyway we were driving through the area and this little store was on side of the road with the name of Haberdashery! It made me think of this swap. I would love to go in there sometime.
Next surgery date is Dec.6 maybe.
