Farmsisters, I just got the saddest email from Joan. Her husband passed unexpectedly and she wanted me to let everyone know shed be very late and the reason why. My heartfelt prayers go out to her and her family right now so I hope you will lift her up in your hearts and prayers too. Thanks for understanding. Hugs....

Joan, I hope today brings you some peace. I know what a shock it must have been for you. Remember to rest, nap, eat and drink some hot teas. When my mother passed away, I was at the clinic one afternoon, there on the table by the chair I sat in was a small pamphlet. I picked it up and began to read. It told me that we go thru a brown out phase when someone we love passes away. So we need rest and sleep.
I had seen my mother every day for the five years she was sick. I rejoiced That she was with Jesus...but I never cried. Now I did go to the phone in my hall and pick it up and begin to put her number in ...several times...then I would realize I could no longer talk to her. ( just before cell phones). But you know sometimes I can feel her next to me.

I received more beautiful fabric in my box today from Darlene, Dianna, and Wanda Sue. Thank you all so much!

Dianna - the cute little gnomes finally made their way here today :) It looks like they went through the mail twice. There's a post mark stamp on the top for Sep 22 and there's one on the bottom for Sep 29?!?! I guess they were having fun riding around LOL!
