It is time to celebrate our 7th Annual Farmgirl Apple Pie Festival swap for 2021. This exchange can be anything you wish to share but do try and keep it small and simple because shipping costs are so high these days! Here are some ideas that are fun; Apple recipes, anything apple that you make like a dishtowel, knitted dishcloth, homemade apple greeting cards to use , apple bowl fillers or whatever you think is fun. It just has to be about Apples.
I hope those of you who can will join in the fun! Sign ups will go through September 9, and Partners will be posted on September 10.
We had an odd number sign up so we will do the round robin technique for your partners. Just a reminder of how it works. You send your package to the person by your name. That person sends to the person on the next line. example: beccalou sends to tree lady who then sends to Killarney who then sends to sweettea59 and on down the list to the last line lovinRchickens will send to Beccalou who was at the top of the list. Please send me any questions as some of you might not have done this technique before. With an odd number this method allows everyone to receive a package. Happy Swapping!!

I grow four differnt ones. Pink pearl, Jonathon, red love, and the last one I have forgotten the name. I have had them for so many years now. Last year we had not one bloom. First time ever. So I was thrilled to have them all produce again this year.

Welcome everyone!! I am delighted you are joining in the fun.
Kelly, I have never heard of the apple varieties you are growing. Can you tell us more details about each kind? Cooking apples? Just good eating apples? Have you made any of them into applesauce or apple butter? Apple Pie? Inquiring minds want to know. Also, I would love to see a photo of the different kinds if you have time.

Linda and others who want to know the same question: When do the swaps mail out? I opened this swap early in the month to give everyone plenty of time. If you can get it out soon, then do so, but if you need more time, please just let your partner your swap will arrive later. Just please let the person know what is going on and when you expect to be able to get the package out. I hope this answers everyone's questions and if not, just email me with your questions.
I also have not put a specific number on how many items. I think if you make the things and keep the shipping costs way down, you will automatically limit how much you send. I really want everyone to just enjoy the theme and keep it simple and easy to ship. I hope this helps but let me know if it doesn't help you.
