Another town In California was consumed in the Dixie fire!
The road I would take when I go home is closed because of another fire that way.
It is devastating in the mountains here.

Darlene, I'm so sorry you are experiencing such catastrophic forest fires - we are experiencing the same, yet again... two years in a row. I'm not sure there's much of Oregon that's remains unburnt at this point in time. The largest in our country is just an hour and half south of us, nearly over 400k acres burnt - we've been covered in a cloud cover of smoke for nearly two weeks, dreary, dark, smokey, only a couple peaks of sunlight here and there... today, the wind arrived and has blown some of the smoke out - so we are sunny today with just a haze of smoke - which is good since our boys are playing in the Bend Premier Cup Soccer Tournament. Saying prayers for all forest fires to be contained and all firefighter to remain safe. You stay safe as well, sounds like it's too close to your neck of the woods. xo

They just put Vibra where I am at under yellow Covid today.
Our head housekeeper just came down with it so we were green but have moved to yellow.
Asking for prayers that we will go back to green soon.

Its so horrible, so tragic!! I've been praying!! The rains gotta come soon and give these fire fighters a break! They just called my husband in to go to Turkey and assist in fighting their fires. Our world is burning up and its not even judgment day yet!! :(

April, how are you doing? It was less smoky today here. The fires are still going strong I believe but maybe the awesome firefighters will be able to get them out. We could use rain but without lightening.
We had a Covid scare on this floor and no one can just take a stroll down the hall if they want to. Apparently someone has it and has been walking around.
I did get to do some pt today.
Dianna, sending prayers for your hubby as he goes to Turkey and safety from Covid as he travels. Praying for you too!

It’s not, I need to get home and start the next journey towards my knee surgery. My dental work.
That’s not happening today.
And we are confined to our rooms because someone had Covid running around the halls.
Can’t go out of the room without a staff person.
