hi Judy, I keep a small evergreen tree on my buffet in my dining room. I have lights on it and decorate for each season. For fall I would put on fall leaves. Nothing too much, but enough to make me smile!! have fun decorating.

Judy, I live here in Florida where Fall doesn't arrive until mid to late November. It is , however, my favorite season because I grew up in Virginia in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and fall season is gloriously beautiful. So, I like to decorate my house and porch starting September 1 and leave it up until December 1. I will try and take some photos this year and share . Michele, I keep a little faux Christmas tree in my family room and decorate it for every season. It has little lights, homemade ornaments and Farmgirl cards and gifts as well. It brings me a lot of pleasure all year long.

Do you like to decorate and what do you enjoy doing?

I'm not ready for fall yet.... BUT.... my trees on my side yard are starting to drop leaves... seems so early!

Judy, I've never had a year around tree, but always wanted too, not sure why I haven't, but, some ideas that come to mind are: fall floral and garland, I use these for all holiday decorating, fall cookie cutters, fall colored ribbons, hand painted little wooden ornaments, pinecones gussied up with paint, glitter and ribbons... just a few thoughts! Please share a picture of your finished fall tree, I would love to see!! xo

Judy I haven't done a seasonal tree in a very, very long time but about to do it again. I found a little white birch tree with led lights on Amazon for less than $10 so I ordered it. It came the other day and I didn't like it being all white so this morning I painted or should I say I polished it with Old English furniture polish. I have used it before and like the look. Not a solid color - more of a tint.

First I want to make wool apples for our Sept MJF Apple Festival then pumpkins for the fall. Thinking about wee mittens for the winter; bees and bee hives for the spring. Going to have think on what to make for the summer months.

Ohh, Sara, you new seasonal tree plans sound adorable!! I can't wait to hear how they turn out for you.

Here is my little tree that I decked out with Apples for our upcoming Sept. MJF Apple Festival. I like to enjoy apple season before I decorate for the fall months of October and November.

My tree is a hodge podge of over a decade of apple ornaments that I have made and Farmgirls have gifted. It is so much fun and I have a strand of white little LED lights so it looks so cute at night.
