Hi We are still required to masks everywhere and it plays havoc with my sinuses so I put a drop of peppermint essential oil in the center of the inside of my mask. I find i breathe much better.
New masks sometimes do not smell great so this works wonderful too
I tried other essential oils as well. I sometimes use sweet orange or Lavender essential oil also wonderful and calming.
And I love the fresh scent.. Because sometimes masks get stinky from your breath thru out the day..
I also wash them and rinse them with a drop of tea tree oil to keep them sanitary then hang dry them..
I put a drop of an anti-viral essential oil in my mask. It doesn't hurt to have an extra layer of protection. Oregano (it's ok to smell like pizza), ravensara, tea tree, thyme, eucalyptus -- whatever strikes my fancy at the time.
