I have been trying to locate some Music cloves for planting for the Spring. MaryJane is sold out and so is every other place I have tried.
Any leads? I really wanted to plant garlic this fall, maybe I am out of luck. Hope not!
Thanks!

Karen Maria, I also wanted seed garlic from MJF and when they weren't selling their garlic this year, but planting all for next year's crop, I bought garlic from Aldi and put 100 cloves in my raised beds. I hope you find what you are looking for, but if not try a few from the grocery store and see how you like it. Let us know what you end up doing.

I'm not sure if they have any left this year or not. Since you already got some maybe next year you can check out https://www.anniesheirloomseeds.com/ Great place to get all kinds of wonderful seeds!!!

I just bough 9 hard neck bulbs from the Amish farm. It is grown there and not treated. NOt sure what variety, but it is a long keeper as I have had it n the past. Most places are sold out Welcome Karen Maria!

Do you have a Farmers Market close to you? I simply bought some bulbs for cooking use & then some extras for planting. The farm uses no pesticides-organic though not necessarily CERTIFIED as such due to the expense. Hopefully next year I will not have to buy much at all! I don't think you necessarily have to use SEED GARLIC. The lady I bought my cloves from says she just saves a few of her bulbs each year to plant for the next season's harvest. Hope you can find some . . .

If you are still looking, try Territorial Seed Company. I know they carry Music but not sure if they have any left.

Thanks all! I guess seed garlic is the wrong term, I assume you would say cloves for growing instead. :)

Actually seed garlic is a correct term! I just meant I don’t think you need to have garlic cloves that are labeled specifically seed garlic. As long as cloves are natural (not treated with pesticides or chemicals) I think you can plant them.
