I need a little help here from you more organized Farmgirls. Do you have any tips for keeping your swaps and addresses organized? At one point I had 5 swaps going at the same time and lost track of who was getting what. I almost sent the wrong swap stuff to the wrong recipient. Of course, maybe 5 concurrent swaps was overload for my little pea brain. LOL. I only have two open ones now -- more manageable. Thanks in advance . . . jean |

Jean I don't join in on swaps but I am a fan of spiral notebooks and index cards to help me organize addresses and my to-do lists.

I put the mailing date of swaps on the calendar on my iPhone. I love that app -- I use it to keep track of everything -- it sure has helped conquer many of my senior moments.

Jean, I keep a list of the swaps I am participating in at the front of my day planner for each month. I list the partner date, mail out date, and any tips beside the name of each swap on the list. Then I make sure I have a note in the actual week calendar on the correct day to make sure I am keeping on track. Doing swaps is fun for me, but it can get confusing if I don't be very strict about entering the information at the same time I sign up for a swap. Like you, my pea brain can get confused and you aren't the only one to send the a swap to the wrong partner. It was that mistake that got me on the ball with a system that works for me and now I can enjoy the process better.

I have a small notebook that I keep swaps, partner address, mail out dates and an other info in so I don't get confused. Makes things much easier.
