Marilyn, if we can keep the packages light and the same thickness they ship cheaper. The postage is getting outrageous. That's why I ask for No Tucks too!
If I include what is in the swap that should be enough. I don't want anyone to stay out because they can't add extras or afford the postage. We can love on each other and keep it reasonable.

Sometimes the postage is more than what's inside! I have been told, it's to fluffy, not flat enough, uneven, blah, blah! Then they pull out the cardboard thing with the slits in to see if it goes through. If it does, lucky you. If not $4 more! Whatever,going broke PO! Where's all the money? Therefore I am going to promote No Tuck Swaps so everyone feels they can participate. I'm not trying to tell everyone what to do but I don't want anyone to feel left out if they can't stuff everything and the kitchen sink in the package. So if you want to add, don't expect you will get more than a swap requires. Does this sound reasonable?
Dianna, Yikes! I don't order from places either unless shipping is free or reasonable. I try to bargain at the post office. Sometimes it works. My husband won't do
it if I send him! LoL!
My mouth is watering for some pumpkin anything!

Ooooooh, I was looking for fabric in my considerable stash for another project and ran across the most delightful pumpkin material. So, of course, I have to play. Even have my two hand made "thingys" already in mind. Appreciate your suggestions for helping to keep postage down . . . . but, but, but, being socially distanced and isolated here on the farm, how in the world am I supposed to de-clutter if I can't send "tucks". Just kidding Farmgirls . . . . gotta try to find the "fun" wherever I can these days . . . .
Happy weekend to y'all. I sincerely hope you stay out of harm's way. I feel so badly for our neighbors to the west in WA, OR and CA, who are suffering from the terrible fires. We have had nasty smoke here at times. The winds have cleared things out at the moment, but, of course, are not good for fire fighting. A few smaller fires in the Palouse and Clearwater area, but so far they have been quickly squelched.

Jean, thanks for joining. Yesterday I called several thrift stores and only one is accepting items. My husband is getting on my case because I couldn't find any place to take the donations I have for them. I hope I don't drop them off and then go inside shopping! LoL!
