Jaime, I am sure you can. I've done it myself with no problem. Sometimes I just don't have time to can it right after making it, so I freeze it for canning later. I do the same with frozen meat... freeze it and then can it when I gave time (plus partially frozen meat is so much easier to cut, in general). I don't do this with veggies because I think they might become too mushy... although I have used frozen veggies in canned soups and stews with no problem. And I definitely use frozen fruit to make pie filling. So I think as long as it smells and tastes ok, and you use proper canning methods for the type of foods you are canning, it is fine to extend its life on the shelf!

Hugs,

Nini

Thank you all SO much! I really appreciate it!

I want to make room in the freezers for more meat and for cookie dough! The holidays are coming!

Getting all of those bags of chicken stock out of there and onto the shelf in jars would be huge!!!

Oh, MAN! I hadn't even thought to add cookies to my to do list, Jaime! I'm so glad you mentioned that! Guess I'm going to have to re-think my freezer now, too! YIKES!

I can't believe it is mid- September already.. Can you, girls? Wow.

Hugs,

Nini
