We are slowly finding all our wonderful thrift stores here in our new little town of Coos Bay. I love the mountains and I do miss our Colorado mountains but...I love the Ocean and so happy to be here.
A few years back I started collecting those “kitschy” 1950 shell “smalls” decorations.
I don’t know what it is about them but I love them, quirky and all.
Well, Look what I found here, isn’t it sweet and so unique, I have never seen one with two pieces. Two treasures in one! It is perfect with no chips or anything and a bargain at $5.00.
This one I will treasure, I like the different shells it has as well. I hope to find many more on my journey here with most treasures being found on the beach!
Have a Beautiful week my Sisters:~}

Those are very pretty Debbie. Great find. I personally like those kinds of seashell decorations. Some of the matching jewelry are so pretty!

Debbie...you will love looking for shells on the Beaches or even agates! A lot of the shells get broken up because the Pacific Ocean is
rough waves, and sneaker waves. But every once in a while you find some real keepers. Heart shaped rocks too!! I have 2 quart jars
of some really neat shells and rocks. So, glad that you are getting some exploring of your town and Beaches.

Love, hugs and joy,
Peggy

Debbie, my Mom loved to walk the beach and collect shells. Then she would clean them up and make all sorts of cute little things like you found. This adorable finding reminds me of my Mom's projects. I am happy that you are getting out and finding new adventures and fun spots at your new home!!

Thanks Peggy and Winnie. We go at least 1 time a week to the beach so I can beachcomber, and I have found a few treasures. No sea glass
yet but I will one day. I also collect bird feathers and I have found many, so I love that.
I just cannot express how happy I am to be here and with our Son Kent. To be a family again is everything and Kent is feeling better breathing wise. Looking now for a Cardiologist and Pulmonary Doctor that can help him. He is overdue for his ultrasound, we need it as it tells us how much his disease has progressed. We hope not.
Our family loves the ocean and we are enjoying every minute of everyday.

Y’all are so sweet. How happy it makes me to hear your shell stories with your loved ones.
I will see if I want to make shell crafts or just set them in my beach vignette at the window and enjoy them for awhile. I will keep you posted.
Oh and yes, I love the ocean and everything about it, it is my happy place!
