This was my rocking chair when I was little. Well its still mine but the little Amish girl fits in it better.
Finished the winter scarf I was working on in 90 degree weather. very colorful.
Going for groceries as soon as my daughter calls me, she always goes with me. I would have been back by now but she is not a morning person.
Happy Day to all.

Nancy Jo...I love that you kept your Rocking Chair. We never got such special gifts when I was a child.
It is so Amazing to share all your special keepsakes with you!!

Hope you got your Grocery Shopping done!! I have been doing Curbside Pick Up since thee Pandemic

Nancy that is awesome! I have my childhood rocker and my grandmother's. I think it is so nice to have things like that. I have my mother's high chair too. Well a doll resides in it at present.
You sound like me, I like to get things done first thing in the morning.

Nancy, I have my childhood rocking chair as well. It's in my daughters room and comes with a matching doll sized rocking crib and toy box. It's so enjoyable seeing my daughter play with furniture that I had as a child. And hopefully she can pass it on to her daughter eventually.

Your photos are just as pretty as ever. I have not posted much for a long time, but I used to read your posts all the time. Love the lamp too! The rocker is very special.

So nice to see that the little rockers were saved by many of us. I also have my Grandmothers.

Hi Nancy! I have been away so long, I have forgotten how to post a photo. I was going to show you an old rocker I have, and I will keep trying to relearn. :)

Nancy, here is my rocking chair and crib. The doll sized red quilt was made by my grandmother ( MaryJane’s Mother).

I remember using that quilt on a daily basis with my dolls. She also made me many other doll items. I do miss being a child, but I’m so happy I get to share them with my daughter.
