I love old books and these are two of my favorites. The PollyAnna book is 1912, and the Heidi book is 1921. I love to think about where they have been and who read them . I look for them at the thrift and at garage sales. Some come from my family and Richards. The Pollyanna book has a bookmark in it that's dated 1893. I just found it while sitting here!! Well that was a surprise.

I love Heidi too, I have been collecting the books for years. Love the movie Heidi with Shirley Temple, such a heartwarming movie .

I loved that book, also Heidi Grows Up and Heidi's Children. My copy was read so much it lost its front cover. Might also be why I named my oldest daughter Heidi.
