Ordered 2# ground bison from Aldi this morning. Haven't never cooked it. Any recipes or tips on cooking will be welcomed.

I've cooked with it. It's good. Just use it like you would hamburger.

My son gave me the best bison chili recipe I've ever tasted Sara. When I come back home I'll send it to you!! He made it for me in December. YUM-my!!!!

Thanks Dianna, chili and burgers are what I want to do. I asked the young woman who delivered my groceries if she had ever had bison. She had when a friend's husband got one on a hunting trip. She liked the burger and said it was leaner than beef.

Bison is very lean, so you might need to add a little fat when you cook it. I love cooking with it.

Thanks Julie, I cooked patties earlier with a splash of avocado oil. Chili on the stove now. Used avocado oil to saute the onions and brown the bison. I tasted a bit of the patties and I think I like bison better than beef. I'll freeze the patties and most of the chili. Have leftover lamb stew to finish up today.
