Thanks, all. I really need a haircut/trim, but don't want to chance it at a salon. I definitely don't want to do it myself, and having seen some of the pandemic haircuts, I don't want to let Ed do it. LOL!

My first pandemic bang trim was cockeyed, but since I wasn't going anywhere it didn't matter. The second and third ones came out better. DH is ready for his second haircut. I think I get a little better with it each time. I think I'll check out Youtube for some tips..

When they first opened back up, I went in for a trim. No masks anywhere. So now it has been another three months. I will call and see.......

Finally I got photos of the cutest apron I've seen in quite a while.
When you see the red side that is totally printed with recipes...my oldest grand daughter is the model! Then we got Hadlee to model. She hid her face!

I love the fact that we here are no ties, buttons etc. You did good, Judith. We all like it. Especially ME!

Judith, I'm planning to mail your apron tomorrow. It will be Priority so by Friday or Sarurday! I was blessed to get to see both girls together, in my house. They are both so busy. But the eldest begins her new job on Wednesday. Just observing her behavior and her comments, she is so releived...like a huge weight has been lifted off of her shoulders. She will have a six week paid orientation...so no call yet.

Nice! Is that one of those mobius aprons that overlaps in the back? I've been looking for the pattern for one. I can probably figure it out, but a pattern for the first one always makes it easier.

It's a pattern from Mary Mulari . I got it from her website. It is kind of like a mobius strip now that I think of it. Reversable, no ties or new strap. very easy to wear. Thanks to Katmom for telling me about it.

Grace,
I received your sweet package today. You'll make a lady out of me for sure.
I love the apron and you know I've been thinking I need a sleep mask to help me stay asleep instead of waking so very early. The sachet smells wonderful! I may have to put that under my pillow. Beautiful and you even personalized it.
Thanks for being my partner! Btw, I love the tie at the neck.

Judith -

Is it the Cross-cross apron? That is what some are calling a mobius apron.

Some of the criss cross apron patterns they have for free on Pinterest look similar to the mobius but the part that crosses look thinner.

Yes, Denise, I thought the same thing. I have an apron pattern that is similar, but doesn't cross in back. I think it would be pretty easy to alter the pattern and make one. There are also a few free cross-in-the-back patterns available on line.

I'm a newbie here just finding my way around this marvelous place. I got all registered just as your partners for this swap were posted. Boo Hoo!! I have a whole tote box full of apron patterns and fabric just waiting to be made into them. Please, please, will someone host another apron swap soon. Once I get my feet good and wet and know my way around, I'll be happy to host or help host, but I need to lurk and learn first. BTW do any of your stitchin' sistas do Hoopsisters projects? Today I need to learn how to post photos . . . I know I saw a how-to message "somewhere" from Brian. I need to try to find it again.

Welcome to MJF Jean. Lots of swaps going on. Good way to meet new farm girls and try a new medium - thinking out of the box, so to speak.

Hi backatcha Judith . . .
Do you have an embroidery machine? If so, you will love these quilt in the hoop projects. Check out the website at www.hoopsisters.com. I have done several of their projects. Recently made a slew of their darling gardening aprons for some girlfriends . . . such fun. How is the weather in Galt today? Hot here . . . . well hot for northern Idaho LOL.

Huya Jean -- right now it's a pleasant 81 degrees and I just finished my 8-block walk. Loving the cooler weather. I do have an embroidery machine but I'm not in love with it so haven't used it in a couple of years. I just can't sit still and babysit it and if I do anything else I come back to find it has broken a thread or run out of bobbin. About the most I did was make some pretty lace bookmarks and ornaments. I do love the FSL.
