Dianna, when Bay was one year old, I was I invited to go with them to Wisconsin. It was mid June when we arrived at Lake Superior. We stayed in a cabin near the lake for a few days before driving South to the other grand parents home. One of our day trips while up north was over to Duluth, Minnesota,
Everyone there was dressed in shorts...and sweat shirts With hoods and big jackets. We were dressed in jeans, stocking caps, coats and we were layered and still cold. At first I thought they were crazy. But soon I decided they were so happy the snow was gone, and hopeful for warmer weather they wanted to be prepared.??? I also noticed that the iris were just blooming...a full two months later than ours, and the trees are so much taller than ours.

Good Morning Ladies,
I have received fabric from Darlene, Marilyn, Sherry, Joan, Vanessa, Jana, and Rebecca. They are so cool, I really am enjoying all the flower fabric. I apologize to you all, I read the swap instructions wrong, and thought we had until the 8th to send them, and I was all excited that I got mine out early by sending them yesterday on the 6th, then I just noticed they were to be sent by the 3rd. *blush* So sorry I got them out late, but they did go yesterday, so hopefully you ladies will see them soon.

Such beautiful floral squares Natalie! Thank you so much! I hope by now everyone has gotten mine as I sent off batch 2 beginni g of last week. If you've not gotten yours I can always resend. I've gotten 7 now. Thank you all. I just love the florals and of course WILL BE making a quilt! Our local quilt shop has a huge single needle machine and will 'quilt' it for me for a small fee

Thank you all so much. I haven't gotten many of my fabrics sent because of the heat. Our car was stolen, so I had to spend a whole day riding in a rental car to find and buy a different one. Such a supreme waste of time. It turned out okay because now we don't need to change the tires, fix the brakes or repair the driver's side door so than it will open from the inside.

Hey Marie...isn't it funny how God takes care of us.
I'm sorry your car was stolen, but sounds like you are ok now. When mine was taken from me in 2012 just three days before Christmas...I had four new tires, two new Windshield wipers, a fresh oil change,with clean filters all the way, and it had just been inspected and had its new tags. On top of that it was paid for and only had 90,000 miles on it although I had driven it for ten years.I was sick!!!
